The New South China Mall in Dongguan, China is the largest mall in the world. The mall is a replica of the Arc de Triomphe in Paris. It also has an indoor-outdoor roller coaster. The mall was opened to customers in 2005. However, this shopping mall is facing a severe shortage of residents. Most of these malls are lying vacant. More than 99 percent of stores are vacant. China’s Golden Resource Mall was the world’s largest shopping mall from 2004 to 2005. It was 1.5 times the size of the Mall of America. Because, the price of goods in this shopping mall is very high, which is beyond the purchasing power of ordinary Chinese. This mall is located a little outside of Beijing. West Edmonton Mall was Canada’s largest shopping mall from 1981 to 2004. It is currently the largest mall in America. It has 800 stores. The mall has the world’s largest indoor amusement park, the world’s largest indoor waterpark and the Ice Palace. Other attractions include an 18-hole miniature golf course.
SM Megamall (3.6 million sq ft)
This shopping mall was opened in 1991. It is one of the largest malls in the Philippines. The mall has two main buildings. One is building-A, the other is known as building-B. Building-A houses the cinema, a bowling alley, food court and Toy Kingdom. Building B houses retail shops. The bridgeway connecting the two main buildings of the mall has several eateries.

This mall is located on the European side of Istanbul, Turkey. Sevahir Shopping and Entertainment Center opened its doors to customers in 2005. It is the largest shopping mall in Europe. This shopping center has 343 shops, 34 fast food restaurants and 14 exclusive restaurants. Other facilities include a large stage for events. This mall has 12 cinema halls. The mall has a small roller coaster and several other entertainment facilities.
