How the fetus is growing

Your baby is growing very fast this week. The baby’s weight increases to 150 grams, and the baby’s length is about 12 centimeters or 5 inches.

During this time many important changes took place in the child’s appearance. The resemblance of his appearance becomes much like that of a human being Eyebrows and eyelids are formed. The baby can move its eyeballs back and forth, even though the eyelids are still closed. The baby can open and close its mouth. However, his full control over this is not made this week.

The baby’s ability to hear also increases during this time; When a child hears a loud noise, he may react by throwing his arms and legs.

Fine lines are already formed on the skin of the baby’s fingers, meaning that from this time onwards he will have his own and distinctive fingerprints. In addition, fingernails and toenails are formed and the child acquires the ability to grip something tightly with his hands.
