Flatulence – Release From Flatulence

Release From Flatulence

Most people experience occasional symptoms such as bloating, bloating, or abdominal discomfort. Many feel this way, especially after a long vacation or celebration. These are the symptoms of flatulence. These symptoms are usually associated with uncontrolled eating.

However, if there is a problem of continuous flatulence, it may be due to any digestive problem or the diet of the person.

Causes flatulence

Often the causes of bloating are:

  • Exhaling excess air through the toilet passage
  • Constipation
  • Swallowing air. This can happen if you talk while eating
  • Not tolerating any particular food
  • Celiac disease
  • Irritable bowel syndrome

It is possible to get rid of bloating by making some simple changes in daily habits. For this purpose, it is necessary to reduce the amount of food that is eaten with more air. Alternatives to carbonated soft drinks should be chosen. You have to make a habit of sitting and eating with time. Besides, you have to develop the habit of exercising regularly.

Excess air exhaust

Foods that cause excess air to pass through the toilet should be reduced. This will reduce the feeling of bloating. These foods include:

  • Beans and other beans
  • Onion
  • Broccoli
  • Cauliflower
  • Cabbage
  • Sprouts

Even if you reduce the intake of vegetables in this list, you should make sure to eat adequate amount of fruits and other vegetables daily.

How much fruit and vegetables do you eat daily?

It is very important to eat at least five servings of fruits and vegetables daily to keep the body healthy and prevent various chronic diseases. In this case 60 grams of fresh fruits or vegetables are taken as one serving. For the convenience of calculation, one serving of fresh fruits or vegetables can be considered as one serving in the palm of one hand.

Constipation can be prevented through the following three activities:

  1. Put more fiber on the food list. Such foods include a variety of fruits, vegetables, legumes and whole grains (such as red rice and red flour).
  2. Drink enough water and other fluids . It helps in fiber function and helps in digestion
  3. Exercise regularly. Walking briskly for 20-30 minutes just four days a week will improve your stomach’s ability to work. As a result, the process of digestion will become easier
  4. The speed of the toilet doesn’t actually keep it down. If the speed of the toilet is actually kept, then the body gradually begins to absorb water from there. If the stool is stored inside the stomach, it becomes harder day by day, resulting in constipation.

Swallowing air

Swallowing air can cause bloating. Something can be done to prevent excess air from being swallowed. E.g.

  • Refrain from talking while eating
  • When eating, close your mouth and chew
  • Eat straight and refrain from leaning while eating
  • Reduce consumption of bubbling soft drinks (e.g. Coke-Seven Up)
  • Stop eating chewing gum

Food intolerance

Flatulence can be caused by intolerance to certain foods. This type of flatulence can occur in the following three cases:

  • If the stomach is not completely clean after defecation
  • If any food holds gas in the stomach
  • If excess gas is produced in the stomach in response to any food

The two main foods responsible for these problems are:

1. Gluten. It is a type of protein found in wheat, rye, barley and in some cases oats

2. Milk and dairy foods

If a particular food is not tolerated in the stomach, it is best if the food can be reduced or eliminated altogether.

You can make a food diary for a few weeks. Write down what you are eating and drinking. Write down when the problem of flatulence is causing the most pain. If the stomach does not tolerate any specific food, it will give an idea about it.

However, do not stop eating certain types of food for a long time without the advice of a doctor.

When it is important to go to the doctor

Flatulence is a disorder that is affecting more and more people. In this case, it is important to consult a doctor immediately. In women, bloating and feeling full all the time is one of the main symptoms of ovarian cancer . Although these symptoms are considered a common problem, ovarian cancer is often the only symptom. Therefore, if such symptoms occur in women, they should be seriously considered and consult a doctor.

Celiac disease

Coeliac Disease is a known disease of the digestive system. This disease causes problems with digestion of a protein called gluten. Some gluten-rich foods include wheat, barley, rye, and oats.

If you have celiac disease, you may experience bloating after eating gluten-rich foods, as well as symptoms such as diarrhea, abdominal pain and fatigue, or physical exhaustion.

If you suspect that you have celiac disease, you should consult a doctor.

There is no permanent cure for celiac disease. However, if the disease is detected, it is possible to get a lot of benefits by eliminating gluten-containing foods from the food list altogether.

Irritable bowel syndrome

Patients with Irritable Bowel Syndrome or IBS often suffer from flatulence. The problem of flatulence increases especially in the evening.

Excessive airway is not found to be associated with IBS’s flatulence. This is thought to be due to abnormal movement of food through the intestines.
