Lauachhara National Park in Sylhet is an ideal place for nature lovers and travelers. We are heading towards Lauachhara National Park today, 8am by the clock. We set off from Bandar Bazar, the heart of Sylhet city. Crossing the highway in the balmy morning. Within a couple of hours we reached the entrance of Lauachara National Park. After cutting the ticket, I entered on foot. As soon as I entered, I saw a row of sky-high trees.

This forest path runs through the hills. Several mountain ridges flow through the forest. We came across such a pattern. We started moving forward. After some distance, I saw the Dhaka-Sylhet railway line. After this is basically the beginning of the jungle. We stood beside the railway line and took pictures. We left the main road and entered the forest. A sound like a siren was heard. We saw three ways to walk in the garden. There is also a Khasiapalli inside the park. The first path starts from the left hand side crossing the railway line. Kulu monkeys can be seen in the tall trees at the beginning of the trail. Anyone will be mesmerized by the solitude of the forest while walking on this path made through different types of trees. Following the instructions, this path will end right at the starting point. And if you walk a little further inside for an hour, you will see huge gondhrui, jawa, jagdumur, jackfruit, leha etc. trees. Owls come to eat the fruit of fig trees by the wayside, Apart from monkeys and Hanuman, there are many other animals including forest dwellers. As we wandered around, we once reached Magurchharapunji, the settlement of the Khasias. The residents of this capital mainly cultivate betel. Around 1950, the Forest Department created this capital. We got to know this from the information center inside the park. A huge bamboo garden was seen on the way. Any tourist will enjoy watching various kinds of monkey games here. At the end of the path I saw one of the attractions of the forest is the Ulluk family. They live in groups in the highest trees of the forest. This forest is so dense that the sun hardly shines on the ground. Enjoying the beauty of nature, we returned the previous way. This journey was very enjoyable. A huge bamboo garden was seen.
