Stomach discomfort or nausea is a very common problem. This condition usually resolves on its own without any special treatment.

Causes of nausea

  • Eating too much food at once should be avoided. Instead, eat more frequently and in smaller quantities.

Things to avoid:

  • Nausea can be aggravated by cooking or eating food with a strong odor. So these should be avoided.
  • Avoid eating hot, fried or oily foods. 
  • Eat slowly while eating. Can’t be rushed.
  • Do not drink too much water or drink with or after meals.
  • You should not just lie down to eat.
  • Wearing tight clothes or tight pants / pajamas towards the abdomen can cause nausea and vomiting. So if you have this problem, you should refrain from wearing such clothes.

If there is sudden nausea and with that—

  1. Chest pain occurs in such a way that it feels as if something is pressing on the chest or the chest is heavy.
  2. If chest pain spreads to the hands, back, neck, neck or jaw. 
  3. If you actually stop breathing or have difficulty breathing.

These can be symptoms of a heart attack. So in such a situation you should go to the hospital or doctor as soon as possible without delay
