Rabindranath Tagore’s memorial Shilaidah. The memorial house of Kabiguru Rabindranath Tagore is known as Rabindra Kuthibari located in Khorshedpur village of Shilaidah Union of Kumarkhali Upazila of Kushtia. It is only 15 km from Kushtia city. The main building with an area of ​​about 33 bighas has been constructed on two and a half bighas of land. Kuthibari of Rabindranath Tagore with 18 rooms and three floors.

Dhaka to Kushtia

If you want to go from Dhaka, you can go by bus or train. If you go by bus, you have to get off at Kushtia Majampur Gate by New SB Super Deluxe, Shyamoli, Hanif bus. Bus fare is Tk 450 to Tk 500 for Non AC and Tk 600 to Tk 650 for AC.

If you want to go by train, you have to take Sundarban Express or Chitra Express. Sundarban Express in the morning and Chitra Express in the evening leave from Kamalapur Railway Station. If you go by train, you have to get down at Poradah and Bheramara stations. Then take CNG to Kushtia city.

Kuthibari Museum is open daily from 10 am to 6 pm during summer. Open daily from 9am to 5pm during winter. However, the museum is temporarily closed from 1 pm to 1.30 pm every day. The museum is closed every Sunday of the week and open from 2 pm on Monday.
