UAE lifts travel ban on Bangladesh
United Arab Emirates has lifted the travel ban on 15 countries including Bangladesh. Citizens of these countries will be able to travel to the Gulf country from September 12. News from NDTV.
In an announcement on Friday, the Emirates government said that citizens of 15 countries can travel to the Emirates with two doses of the World Health Organization-approved Covid-19 vaccine.
The countries that have lifted the ban are Bangladesh , India, Pakistan, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Vietnam, Namibia, Zambia, Congo, Uganda, Sierra Leone, Liberia, South Africa, Nigeria and Afghanistan.
Travelers wishing to travel to the country have to abide by several rules. In between , the application must be made by visiting the website of the Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship (ICA). Apart from this, passengers must present an approved vaccination certificate before traveling to the Emirates.
A covid-19 test must be done at an approved location 48 hours prior to departure. The negative test results must be shown to the relevant authorities before leaving the country.
Passengers will face another corona test on the fourth and eight days after arrival. In this case too, they have to completely follow the hygiene rules.
